Executive Leadership

Tyler Brown

Founder & CEO

Tyler Brown founded LodgingIQ in 2015. Previously, he was Chief Information and Strategy Officer for Woodspring Hotels with responsibility for distribution, technology and strategic leadership. He served as CIO for Dean and DeLuca, overseeing all information technology for the global gourmet retailer. He gained lodging experience at CLC Lodging (formerly Corporate Lodging Consultants), where he was Senior Vice President of Operations. Tyler holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering and business administration.

Robyn Powell

COO

Robyn Powell serves as COO of LodgingIQ. Her 25+ years in the hospitality industry, dedicated to crew management, make her an expert in third-party lodging management. Robyn was Vice President of Operations at CLC Lodging, where she stayed for over 16 years. Robyn was also VP of Franchise Marketing at Woodspring Suites and VP of Business Development for a niche hotel management company, managing their hotel development with a majority crew lodging component. Robyn holds a bachelor’s degree in management, with an emphasis in management information systems, from the University of South Alabama.

CIO

Wei Xia is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in corporate leadership, product management, software development, and service. Currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at LodgingIQ, he brings a wealth of expertise in driving innovation and implementing cutting-edge technologies. Before joining LodgingIQ, he served as the Associate Vice President at Agoda, overseeing partner services in the Greater China region. Prior to this, Wei worked as VP of New Product and Innovation at Derbysoft, a leading global hospitality technology company. With a strong focus on leveraging technology to optimize operations and enhance customer experiences, Wei has a deep understanding of the hospitality industry. As the Chief Information Officer at LodgingIQ, Wei continues to drive innovation and transformation within the organization. His visionary leadership and strategic mindset have led to the implementation of cutting-edge technologies that streamline processes, improve efficiencies, and elevate the overall customer experience.

Lisa Curtis

VP of Corporate Relocation

Lisa A. Curtis joined Lodging IQ in 2016 as the VP of Sales and New Business Development. With over 25 years of experience, she has an extensive background in both the lodging and travel industries. Lisa began her career with Balassa Travel Company as a Corporate Account Manager after graduation from Ohio Travel School. From there, she moved to a new role in the Corporate Housing industry where she spent over 10 years in Operations, Sales and National Account Management. Lisa then carried her knowledge and experience to Extended Stay America, where she served as a Key Account Manager, leading various verticals in Government, Insurance, Corporate Relocation and IT. While at Extended Stay, Lisa served as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Relocation, Corporate Housing and International IT. She holds the Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) and Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) designation. She has been a member of the Employee Relocation Council since 1998.

Darin Peterson

VP New Account Sales

Darin Peterson serves as VP of New Account Sales at LodgingIQ. With 18 years of experience in the workforce lodging field, he is a seasoned professional. Darin’s career began at CLC Lodging, where he quickly established himself as a high-performing leader, earning countless awards for his exceptional performance and determination. Darin’s reputation as a high-volume achiever in the workforce lodging field is well-documented; he was featured as a guest on the Global Business Travel Associations’ official podcast, where he shared his insights on “New Trends in Project-Based Business Travel.” Darin received his degree in business administration at Emporia State University.
